Job summary

Crowe is seeking an Accounts Receivable Senior Associate to ensure accurate cash application, resolve unapplied cash, and support client inquiries. You will collaborate with Finance teams, engagement executives and management, handling portal administration and AR processes.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years AR experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Workday/Ariba is a plus. This on‑site role offers growth within Crowe’s finance function.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Accounts Receivable experience and strong cash‑application knowledge.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SharePoint; advanced Excel preferred.
• Adaptable to changing environments and eager to learn.
• Attention to detail with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or similar client‑service settings.
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Icertis or Ariba is a plus.
• Experience with third‑party client portals for setup and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Experience improving or documenting AR processes; AI‑assisted tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely posting of payments and proper cash receipts.
• Process uncollectible amounts and write off bad debt.
• Resolve unapplied cash with business units.
• Respond to client balances and payment inquiries.
• Prepare refunds for overpayments.
• Monitor inbox and address AR inquiries from clients and internal staff.
• Assist with client portal onboarding, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Learn and document multi‑step AR processes and ensure consistency.
