Job summary

Crowe is seeking an Accounts Receivable Senior Associate to ensure accurate cash application, record bad debt, and resolve unapplied cash while supporting AR inquiries. You will partner with finance teams, engagement executives, Partners and Managing Directors and assist with client portal administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of AR experience with cash application knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SharePoint; Excel PivotTables and lookups.
• Flexibility in a changing environment and a desire to learn.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in professional services or client-service environment preferred.
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Icertis or Ariba is a plus.
• Experience with third-party client portals and documenting AR processes is a plus.
• Exposure to AI-enabled tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assure timely and accurate posting of monies due to the partnership, including posting of lockbox and other cash receipts.
• Process amounts that are no longer collectable, written off as bad debt.
• Work with business units to resolve unapplied cash balances.
• Respond to inquiries related to client balances and/or applied payments.
• Prepare customer refunds due to overpayments.
• Monitor a shared inbox and respond to AR inquiries from clients and internal team members.
• Assist with onboarding, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and documentation for client portal accounts.
• Learn, document and consistently execute detailed, multi-step AR processes.
