Job summary

Crowe is seeking an Accounts Receivable Senior Associate in the United States to manage cash application, bad debt recording, and unapplied cash inquiries. You will collaborate with Finance teams, engagement executives, Partners and Managing Directors, and support client-facing inquiries and portal administration.

Key responsibilities include posting cash receipts, handling write-offs, resolving unapplied cash, and preparing refunds.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Accounts Receivable experience with cash application.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel with PivotTables and lookups.
• Experience in professional services or client-service environment is a plus.
• Experience with client portals or AI-enabled tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely posting of cash receipts and lockbox items.
• Process non-collectable balances and write-offs as needed.
• Resolve unapplied cash with business units and inquiries.
• Respond to client and internal AR inquiries and portal admin tasks.
• Prepare refunds for overpayments and monitor shared inbox.
• Assist onboarding and maintenance of client portal accounts.
