Job summary

Action Target in Provo, UT is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist to join our finance team. You will manage day-to-day AR and AP functions, ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and reliable reporting.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of AR experience, a degree in accounting or finance, and strong Excel and ERP skills. You will collaborate with sales and service teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounts receivable experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full-cycle accounts receivable, invoicing, payment posting and collection.
• Communicate with customers by email/phone to follow up on invoices and disputes.
• Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Review billing data for accuracy and collaborate with sales and service teams.
• Maintain aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Process vendor invoices in ERP and support AP tasks as needed.
