Job summary

Intuit Inc. in San Diego seeks a Lead Accountant to oversee global Accounts Receivable operations within the FITG organization. The role covers month-end close, billing, SOX controls, external audit support, and AR transformation initiatives.

You will lead cross-functional teams, review journal entries and reconciliations, manage invoicing, and ensure compliance across multiple entities and geographies, with a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience with AR and month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of order-to-cash in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and application to high-volume transaction flows.
• SOX controls experience including certification and audit support; Big 4 collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee AR accounting operations across month-end close, billing, and adjustments.
• Review month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations; resolve variances.
• Prepare AR flux commentary and analyses for leadership.
• Oversee billing operations including invoice review and cross-team coordination.
• Own AR SOX controls and maintain documentation; certify controls.
• Coordinate audit deliverables and AR-related walkthroughs.
• Lead AR transformation initiatives including automation and acquisitions integration.
