Intuit Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the Money Movement team. You will support the monthly loss reserves process, perform GL close, and bank reconciliations while tackling data-driven insights and ad hoc projects as new payment rails are built.

You will read SQL queries, use AI tools to enhance accuracy, and ensure compliance with GAAP. Strong communication and cross-functional partnership are essential in this fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA a plus.
• 5+ years of accounting experience including GL close and bank/cash reconciliations.
• Proficient in reading SQL to query data and using AI tools for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior accountant with monthly loss reserves process and data validation.
• Perform monthly GL close activities and bank/cash reconciliations.
• Support cross-functional projects to scale the Money Movement engine and translate requirements into accounting treatment.
• Read and interpret SQL queries to pull data and troubleshoot independently.
• Use AI tools to accelerate reconciliations, variance analysis, and documentation.
