Intuit Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Money Movement team. You will support the monthly loss reserves process, perform GL close and reconciliations, and help scale payment rails with cross-functional partners.

The role requires reading SQL, using AI tools, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to turn data into clear insights for stakeholders. CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus, with 5+ years of accounting experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA a plus.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with GL close and bank/cash reconciliations.
• Detail-oriented with strong process orientation and follow-through.
• Proficient in SQL reading and using AI tools for analysis and documentation.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and accrual concepts for revenue/payments accounting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for clear data-driven insights.
• Familiarity with Oracle/Blackline a plus and cross-functional collaboration.
• Customer-service mindset with ability to partner across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Assist a senior accountant in supporting the monthly loss reserves process for Payments, validating data and summarizing trends.
• Perform monthly GL close activities for Money Movement/Fintech, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Conduct bank and cash reconciliations across Payments, Bill Pay, Payroll, and Banking offerings.
• Support ad hoc projects to build and scale the Money Movement engine with Product Development.
• Read and interpret SQL queries to pull and validate data independently.
• Use AI tools to accelerate reconciliations, variance analysis, and documentation.
• Prepare documentation to support journal entries, reconciliations, and reserve balances for audits.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Participate in cross-training and provide coverage during peak periods.
• Adhere to close-calendar SLAs and maintain internal control environments.
