Job summary

Templafy is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Senior Accountant to own the end-to-end AR process across multiple entities and currencies. You will drive invoicing, cash collection, and accurate records while collaborating with Finance, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

You will resolve complex queries, improve systems and controls, and support month-end close in a fast-growing SaaS environment. Fluency in English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of AR accounting, reconciliations, and order-to-cash processes.
• Experience managing customer invoicing and collections in a multi-entity or international environment.
• Good understanding of UK accounting principles and financial controls.
• Experience supporting month-end close and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems; familiarity with SaaS billing systems is an advantage.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident working independently while collaborating effectively with teams across the business.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and continuous learning.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AR process: invoicing, credit notes, cash application, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue accurate invoices aligned with contracts and billing schedules.
• Monitor receivables and manage collections for overdue balances.
• Maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve billing queries.
• Perform bank, customer account, and sub-ledger reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close: AR journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and report aged receivables and unapplied cash.
• Prepare AR reports, ageing, and cash collection forecasts.
