Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced APU Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, and integrate advanced aerospace control systems for gas turbine engines. You will own systems across their lifecycle and lead a team supporting production and fielded hardware.

Responsibilities include managing design changes, coordinating with suppliers and project engineers, ensuring compliance with aerospace requirements, and planning substantiation and testing for ECUs including cabin pressure systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of product development, systems integration, and production/factory support for aerospace safety-critical systems.
• U.S. Person under U.S. export control laws.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate complex systems for APU gas turbine engines.
• Lead electronics control units for production and factory support.
• Manage design, obsolescence, and revisions across drawings and sub-assemblies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and project engineers; communicate product development status.
