Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Project/Systems/Test engineer for the G570 APU program in Phoenix, responsible for leading engineering efforts from requirements through qualification testing.

You will maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track milestones, manage budgets and CAM activities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and the customer to ensure program success while adapting to evolving priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project, Systems, or Test engineering.
• Hands-on background in New Product Development (NPD), R&D, or aerospace testing.
• Technical knowledge in Gas Turbine Engines (APU or Propulsion).
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts for the G570 APU Program, including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project, Systems, or Test engineering
• Hands-on background in New Product Development (NPD), R&D, or aerospace testing
• Technical knowledge in Gas Turbine Engines (APU or Propulsion)
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Program/control account management skills
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects
• Proven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience solving technical problems utilizing analytical thinking
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
