Job summary

Honeywell in Phoenix is seeking a mechanical engineer with Gas Turbine experience to join the Legacy Engines, APU & Adv Tech Turbine group on a Hybrid schedule.

You will perform design and analysis of cooled and uncooled turbine components, support turbine hardware fabrication and engine testing, and lead data reduction and validation of analysis models. You will participate in teams supporting funded research programs to improve turbine stress and lifing capabilities.

Responsibilities

The scope of the work will include performing, and providing technical expertise on cooled and uncooled turbine components design and analysis, support turbine hardware fabrication, support engine testing, data reduction and validation of analysis models. In addition, the candidate would participate in teams which support internally and externally funded research programs with the emphasis of improving Turbine stress and lifing capabilities.

The candidate would participate in teams to resolve complex engineering problems and have an effective listening skills and flexibility in approach to resolve complex engineering problems. You will contribute to proposals to address future business opportunities, value engineering and program/process changes.

You work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
