Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Advanced Electrical Systems Engineer to lead design, development, and integration of complex APU control system components and electronics for gas turbine engines. The role covers production support, obsolescence management, and engineering change control within the APU Control Systems group.

Located in Tucson, AZ with a hybrid work schedule; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience with product development, systems integration, and production/factory support for aerospace products including electronic control units and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Production/Factory support: resolve production issues and release Engineering Change Notices.
• Design & Integration: ensure supplier and build-to-print drawings meet Honeywell requirements and integrate into larger systems.
• Communication / Component Management: lead communications with suppliers, customers, and project teams and establish program milestones.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

5+ years in aerospace product development and production support
