Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks an Applied AI ML Senior Associate to design, develop, and productionize ML and DL solutions, including generative AI use cases.

You will collaborate with product and engineering to translate business needs into reliable models and scalable platform capabilities, focusing on performance, quality, and usability. Expect a rigorous, impactful role at the intersection of research and production.

Qualifications

• MS and/or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, with at least 2 years of applied ML experience.
• At least 4 years' experience in Python, Java, C/C++, etc., with intermediate Python.
• At least 2 years' experience applying data science and ML techniques to business problems.
• Solid NLP and LLM background; experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on ML/DL methods experience and production-ready coding.
• Deep learning framework expertise (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and model deployment.
• Experience in GPU optimization, embedding models, inference, and prompt engineering.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serves as SME on ML techniques and optimizations.
• Provides knowledge of ML algorithms, frameworks, and techniques.
• Advances workflows with LLMs and related techniques.
• Conducts experiments to evaluate latest AI methods and benchmarks.
• Owns end-to-end code development in Python for POC and production solutions.
• Optimizes accuracy and performance; collaborates with engineering to deliver solutions.
• Integrates Generative AI within the Agent Platform using state-of-the-art techniques.
