Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Applied AI ML Senior Associate to design and deliver trusted market-leading AI/ML solutions in a secure, scalable way. You will collaborate with technology and business partners to turn ideas into production-ready capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Your role includes building AI agents, orchestrating LLMs, and mentoring junior team members while delivering robust data-driven capabilities across the firm.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of applied experience in data science, machine learning, or related areas.
• Strong programming skills in Python with PySpark, Spark SQL, and data manipulation.
• Experience LLM orchestration and Agentic AI libraries.
• Proficiency in using GenAI models to solve business problems.
• Experience in building AI Agents and Agentic frameworks.
• Experience in building and managing data lakes and data processing workflows using Databricks.
• Ability to leverage AI agents and tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
• Fast learner with ability to develop Proof of Concepts and move to production.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic frameworks (Langchain/LangGraph) and similar technologies.
• Develop AI/ML and GenAI solutions to address business needs.
• Work across ML techniques: supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised.
• Apply NLP to practical applications in finance and business.
• Code in Python with libraries like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Productionize end-to-end AI/ML solutions with teammates.
• Engage in R&D of innovative AI solutions.
• Mentor other AI/ML team members toward success.
• Collaborate with teams firm-wide to align with mission and vision.
