Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York seeks an Applied AI ML Senior Associate to design, develop, and productionize machine learning and deep learning solutions, including generative AI use cases, in a collaborative, customer‑focused environment within the Corporate Sector’s Applied Artificial Intelligence and ML Data Platforms team.

You will partner closely with product and engineering stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable models, workflows, and platform capabilities, deliver end‑to‑end

Qualifications

• MS and/or PhD in CS/ML with at least 2 years of applied ML experience.
• At least 4 years' experience in Python/Java/C/C++ with intermediate Python.
• At least 2 years applying data science and ML to business problems.
• Strong NLP and LLM background.
• Hands-on ML/DL methods experience.
• Deep learning frameworks PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with GPU optimization, fine tuning, embedding models, inference, prompt engineering, RAG.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on ML techniques and optimizations.
• Enhance ML workflows with LLMs and related techniques.
• Design and productionize ML solutions with Python end-to-end.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to deliver platforms.
• Optimize accuracy and performance, resolve bottlenecks.
