Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Applied AI ML Senior Associate to design, develop, and productionize ML and DL solutions, including generative AI use cases, within the Corporate Sector.

You will partner with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into reliable models and scalable platform capabilities, ensuring high performance, quality, and usability across lines of business.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in CS/ML with at least 2 years of applied ML experience.
• ≥4 years in programming with Python, Java, or C/C++.
• ≥2 years applying data science/ML to business problems.
• Strong NLP and LLM background.
• Hands-on ML and deep learning with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with GPU optimization and model deployment.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as SME on a wide range of ML techniques and optimizations.
• Provides in-depth knowledge of ML algorithms, frameworks, and techniques.
• Enhances ML workflows with advanced NLP/LLM and agent techniques.
• Conducts experiments to evaluate AI and agents, tunes models.
• Hands-on coding to production-ready solutions in Python with the engineering team.
• Optimizes system accuracy and performance, removing bottlenecks with engineers.
• Integrates Generative AI within the Agent Platform using state-of-the-art techniques.
