Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in an Application Support role or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Unix and shell scripting to automate tasks and diagnose issues.
• Working knowledge of Oracle databases with ability to write and run queries for troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Autosys or equivalent job scheduling.
• Proficiency with monitoring/observability tools (ITRS Geneos, AppDynamics, ELK, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience managing incidents and service requests via ServiceNow or Jira.
• Familiarity with OpenShift or ECS for deployments in modern infra.
• Clear communicator capable of engaging technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple technology teams to ensure integrated delivery of functions.
• Provide expert guidance on apps support principles and practices.
• Define systems scope and objectives for complex enhancements and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Analysts to determine system impacts and requirements.
• Assess risk and security implications; communicate mitigation options.
• Mentor junior analysts and allocate work as needed.
• Impact the business by advising on strategic technical decisions.
