Key People seeks an Assistant Technical Applications Manager to lead engineering and field support for industrial gas detection and automation. You will guide system design, coordinate installation, and troubleshoot complex control systems in real-world environments.

The role combines office analysis with on-site commissioning and customer training, shaping product improvements and ensuring reliable operation across demanding industrial sites.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, controls, automation, or related fields.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with field installations, startup, commissioning, and customer-site support.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs/HMIs and industrial communications (Modbus).
• Knowledge of electrical systems and hazardous-location installations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a senior technical resource for gas detection, automation, and control-system applications.
• Lead system design including control architecture, automation strategies, and integration.
• Configure, program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Manage projects from concept through testing, installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Provide on-site commissioning, training, and technical support at customer facilities.
• Develop technical proposals, documentation, and compliance materials.
• Review field service reports for technical accuracy and final system status.
• Drive continuous improvement and coordinate field service resources as needed.
• Mentor application engineers and lead product development efforts with engineering teams.
