Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks an Assistant Technical Applications Manager to bridge engineering, automation, and field support in our gas detection and control systems division. This hands-on role requires leadership in design, testing, commissioning, and customer training.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams through the full project lifecycle, contribute to product development, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and safety across industrial environments.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, controls, automation, or related technical environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with industrial installations, startup, commissioning, and customer-site support.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley and/or IDEC).
• Strong knowledge of Modbus RTU/TCP and industrial signals (4–20mA, 0–5V, 0–10V).
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, schematics, and safety requirements.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes).
• Ability to perform measurements safely in industrial environments.

Mansioni

• Serve as a senior technical resource for gas detection, automation, and control systems.
• Lead system design including control architecture and integration.
• Configure, program, troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs; support field service and commissioning.
• Develop technical proposals, system documentation, and operating manuals.
• Provide on-site commissioning and customer training.
• Mentor other engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across sales, engineering, and production teams.
