Job summary
ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Technical Applications Manager to bridge engineering and field support for industrial gas detection and automation systems.
You will design, validate, and optimize control solutions, work directly with customers, and guide implementation from review through commissioning. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, troubleshooting in real environments, and collaboration with engineering, sales, and service teams to improve product performance and customer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related field.
- 10+ years in applications engineering, controls, automation or field engineering.
- Hands-on experience with startup, commissioning, and customer-site support.
- Strong PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior technical resource for gas detection, automation, and control system applications.
- Lead system design, including control architecture and communications.
- Configure, program, troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
- Provide on-site commissioning, startup assistance, and field support.
- Develop technical proposals, system documentation, and training.
