Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst (Assistant Vice President) in a hybrid role based in Tampa, FL. The position requires contributing to new or revised application systems with the Technology team and supporting business users throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, cost estimates, risk management, and adherence to security standards while serving as SME to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning and risk assessment for applications development.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process—from analysis to testing and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
• Analyze complex problems and evaluate business processes and industry standards; offer evaluative judgments.
• Suggest and implement security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage.
