Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Development - Assistant Vice President to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions. The role collaborates with technology teams to ensure robust, scalable applications that meet business needs in a hybrid work environment.

The Senior Programmer Analyst level expects involvement across feasibility, design, development, testing, and implementation, with guidance to junior staff and adherence to Citi standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment and development of applications to meet business needs.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process and provide user/operational support.
• Analyze complex problems and provide evaluative judgments on business processes and systems.
• Define security measures in post-implementation analyses to ensure system security and functionality.
• Consult with users and technology groups on issues and install/assist customer exposure systems.
• Assist in defining operating standards and processes and coach junior analysts.
