Job summary

Citi in Tampa is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. This intermediate role participates in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems with the Technology team.

The position requires experience in systems analysis, project management, and delivering complex software solutions, with a focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, IT planning and initiate new or revised application systems.
• Monitor and control all phases of development from design to implementation and provide user support.
• Analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes and industry standards.
• Develop and recommend security measures during post-implementation analysis.
• Consult with users and technology groups on issues and provide advanced programming solutions.
• Ensure procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and other team members.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
