Job summary

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst at Citi in Irving, TX leads the design, development and delivery of large-scale, high-performance applications.

You will partner with management to define system enhancements, mentor mid-level developers, and enforce architecture standards and best practices.

Candidates should have 10–15 years in apps development or analysis, strong Java/J2EE, React, REST APIs, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis.
• Hands-on experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS, React JS), REST-APIs, Multithreading and Backend using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Strong fundamentals of OOPS Concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Experience with API and Web Services development using REST/SOAP protocols.
• Fundamental database concepts and experience with MSSQL/Oracle or NoSQL.
• Ability to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and tech stacks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management teams to ensure integration of functions and define enhancements for new products.
• Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in application programming and ensure design aligns with architecture blueprint.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Understand how business areas integrate to meet goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and craft solutions.
• Mentor mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies.
