Job summary

Marsh McLennan is seeking a Senior Application Support Administrator to deliver remote service desk support for enterprise applications. You will troubleshoot issues, manage user requests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, security and availability across our digital ecosystem.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, documentation, and effective communication with stakeholders while supporting upgrades and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in application support management, preferably in insurance/finance.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience supporting cloud-based apps (AWS, Azure, SaaS) is a plus.
• Certifications like ITIL, Microsoft Certified, CompTIA A+ are desirable.
• 3+ years with service desk tools (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Zendesk).
• Experience with AMS Epic or Sagitta is preferred.
• Experience with monitoring, availability, performance, APIs and DB connectivity.
• Assist with SSL renewals and collaborate with Azure, network, cybersecurity teams.
• Support automation using Power Automate, PowerShell and Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert remote support for enterprise applications and issue resolution.
• Log and track tickets using ServiceNow, ManageEngine and Zendesk.
• Coordinate with vendors and teams to patch defects and implement updates.
• Manage configurations, deployments and updates per policies and compliance.
• Create and maintain documentation for processes and user guides.
• Monitor application performance and uptime to minimize downtime.
• Serve as primary contact for escalated requests and stakeholder communications.
• Deliver end-user training to maximize value of retail insurance tools.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations and integrations with minimal business impact.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on industry trends and use insights to drive improvements.
