Sharp Decisions is seeking an experienced IT Production Support Specialist to maintain and support payment systems and transaction-processing platforms in a fully onsite role in Charlotte, NC. The candidate will handle 24x7 incident response, triage, and root-cause analysis, ensuring platform stability and reliability.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM MQ, SFTP, and Windows/Linux environments, plus strong incident and change management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with triage and root cause analysis
• Experience in high-availability production environments
• Experience supporting payment systems, transaction-processing platforms, and operational workflows
• Experience handling incidents, escalations, and change activities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Excellent communication with customers, vendors, and technical teams

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for payment systems and transaction-processing platforms in a 24x7 environment.
• Lead incident management activities, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Perform change management activities and release coordination for production environments.
• Maintain network, Windows, and Linux infrastructure support and ensure system reliability.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution as needed.
