Job summary

DTCC is seeking a Senior Associate Application Support Engineer to provide hands-on production support for mission-critical applications across mainframe and distributed platforms. You will focus on system stability, incident resolution, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will gain exposure to enterprise systems, build expertise in application support, root cause analysis, and platform reliability, while collaborating across teams in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-8 years of experience in application support, production support, or similar role.
• Experience supporting mainframe applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze application issues and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Provide day-to-day production support for applications across mainframe and distributed environments.
• Monitor application dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve application alerts and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain and enhance runbooks, knowledge base, and standard operating procedures.
• Support batch processing, job scheduling, and automation, ensuring processes meet expected thresholds.
• Execute Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures during planned or unplanned outages and capture required documentation.
• Provide input into application design by identifying gaps and improving supportability and reliability.
