Job summary

City of Indianapolis & Marion County is seeking an Application Technical Lead to steward the enterprise application portfolio across agencies. You will direct external service providers, manage vendor partnerships, and guide Applications Services and Business Services teams in lifecycle management, upgrades, and retirement of applications.

The role requires strong customer-facing skills, project management acumen, vendor management, and the ability to align IT initiatives with enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer technology, business or related field is required.
• Eight (8) years relevant work experience with IT systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains in-depth technical knowledge of assigned City/County applications and key business processes.
• Directs vendor partners to ensure ISA standards and policies are met.
• Manages a portfolio of applications across City/County agencies and departments.
• Coordinates projects and change management activities for assigned applications.
