Job summary

PTR Global seeks an experienced leader to head a greenfield Application Portfolio Management initiative in a large enterprise. You will implement governance, inventory, data quality, and lifecycle processes to create a unified portfolio view across the organization.

The role combines strategic planning, program leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with executives, architects, and product leaders, including CMDB stakeholders, in a hybrid Plano, Texas environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, IT, or a related field.
• 10+ years leading enterprise technology, program or product management initiatives.
• Experience with strategic planning, portfolio and asset management, governance, and transformation.
• Proven executive stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to lead greenfield, complex programs from concept through execution.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across business, product, architecture, and risk teams.
• Experience with ServiceNow/CMDB and familiarity with AI-enabled tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise Application Portfolio Management framework.
• Establish inventory management standards and data dictionaries for assets.
• Drive greenfield APM initiatives from strategy to rollout with scalable operating models.
• Oversee data quality, certifications, and alignment across systems.
• Partner with architects, engineers, product leaders, and CMDB stakeholders.
• Establish portfolio governance, controls, and lifecycle management capabilities.
• Analyze portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities for rationalization or modernization.
• Develop portfolio analytics and executive-level reporting on health and compliance.
• Build strong executive relationships and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Champion continuous improvement and evaluate emerging capabilities for decision-making.
