Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Senior Design Systems Engineer to own the system architecture for axle, driveline, transfer case, gear reducer, and 4WD systems. You will coordinate interfaces across Chief Engineer, PRC, DVC, manufacturing, suppliers, and validation organizations.

The role emphasizes design integrity, packaging, virtual development, and program execution from concept through production launch. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in Automotive Engineering and/or Geared Systems.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level definition, integration, and balancing of axle, driveline, transfer cases, gear reducers, and 4WD systems.
• Lead interface management and packaging validation across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate virtual development, CAE reviews, and validation planning.
• Identify risks, drive mitigation, and lead design reviews to ensure performance, manufacturability and quality.
• Manage engineering change processes and support program readiness through launch.
