Job summary

Summit Credit Union is seeking an experienced Application Engineer responsible for designing, configuring, integrating, and lifecycle-managing core banking and digital platforms. You will collaborate with business units to enhance user experiences, ensure security and compliance, and manage vendor relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT or related field.
3+ years of professional experience in application engineering or similar role.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, integrate, administer, and lifecycle-manage key credit union applications (core banking, digital banking, loan origination, payments).
Analyze and develop system enhancements with business units to improve user experience while ensuring security and compliance.
Partner with vendors and manage relationships; lead root-cause analyses and implement effective solutions.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support modernization efforts and leverage enterprise architectures and DevOps practices.
