Job summary

Summit Credit Union is seeking an Application Engineer to design, configure, integrate, administer, and manage key credit union applications including core banking, digital banking, and payment systems.

You will collaborate with business units to implement secure, compliant, and user-friendly solutions, lead root-cause analysis, and maintain alignment with architectural standards. Travel to branches may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve complex application issues.
Understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices.
Experience with enterprise applications and vendor administration.
Knowledge of scripting languages and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

Design, configuration, integration, administration, and lifecycle management of key credit union applications.
Collaborate with business units to analyze, design, and develop system enhancements for user experience.
Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and optimized for member services and internal operations.
Lead root-cause analysis and develop effective solutions for complex problems.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely updates and escalations.
Align solutions with architecture and engineering best practices.
