Summit Credit Union seeks an Applications Engineer to design, configure, and manage core banking and digital banking platforms. You will work with business units to analyze and implement enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency, while ensuring security, compliance, and reliable performance.

The role involves collaborating with vendors, leading issue resolution efforts, and aligning solutions with enterprise architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• 3+ years in application engineering/development or related role.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices.
• Experience with enterprise applications, API integration, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate, administer, and manage lifecycle of key credit union applications (core banking, digital banking, LOS, payments).
• Collaborate with business units to analyze, design, and implement system enhancements for improved user experience.
• Manage vendor relationships, updates, support, and escalations.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement effective solutions for complex issues.
• Ensure solutions align with architecture, engineering best practices and security/compliance.
