Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and implement complex enterprise solutions. The role focuses on SQL Server (T-SQL), C#, SSIS, and data workflows, supporting claims, authorizations, member, and provider data across the enterprise.

You will own the letter application data pipeline, transform data, generate Word/PDF outputs, and optimize ETL processes. Experience with healthcare data and EDI is preferred; a SAFe-like framework is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 - 6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning, etc.)
• Requires 3+ years of C# development
• Requires 3+ years of SSIS development
• Experience with EDI preferred
• Experience with Healthcare/Managed Care Data is preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the enterprise.
• Own, maintain, and enhance the in-house letter application and related data processes.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch and perform production support.
