Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a skilled engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise software solutions. You will work closely with data modelers, architects, analysts, and SMEs to deliver data-driven applications that support claims, authorizations, and provider data processes.

The role involves building and optimizing T-SQL objects, maintaining an in-house letter application with C# and Word, and creating SSIS-based ETL workflows.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development.
• 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI is preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare/Managed Care Data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the business.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects to stage and transform data.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application using C# and Word, with SSIS PDF conversion.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using batch schedulers.
• Perform data analysis, testing, production support, and issue resolution.
• Create and maintain technical docs including data flows and support procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to model solutions and communicate clearly.
