Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks an experienced Application DBA to deliver project-focused database support and operational coverage. The role emphasizes deployments, environment support, security administration, and issue resolution within a fast-paced data-driven environment.

You will serve as the first line for database-related incidents, monitor performance, and contribute to data warehouse build and deployment activities across QA and UAT environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Application DBA or similar role.
• Ability to lead database deployments and environment support.
• Proficient in performance monitoring and SQL tuning.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and security administration.
• Familiarity with development workflows (GitHub) and ticketing/tools like ServiceNow/Jira.

Responsibilities

• Support database deployments and environment configurations.
• Act as L2/L3 point of contact for database issues.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot slow queries, and optimize indexes.
• Manage backups, restores, and recovery testing.
• Oversee user permissions and security controls.
• Coordinate with development teams during deployment cycles.
• Support QA/UAT through database changes and data provisioning.
