Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a detail-oriented warehouse IT/logistics specialist to monitor systems and process data in our Leesburg data center. The role focuses on following operating instructions, handling high-volume tasks, and escalating issues to maintain operational integrity.

You will manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, support programming and systems staff, and ensure accurate data records while working onsite with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma is required.
• Experience: 2+ years in a warehouse/supply chain IT environment, inventory management, retail, or related field; data center experience required.
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word.
• General Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, customer service, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems for equipment failure or performance issues.
• Respond to program errors by fixing problems or terminating programs.
• Coordinate deliveries, including receiving POs and rack movements.
• Move materials, including shipping/receiving and inventory management.
• Ensure detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
• Perform inventory audits, data corrections, and compliance audits.
• Destroy data-bearing devices following procedures.
• Operate spreadsheets and software to load/manipulate data and generate reports.
• Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.

Role Overview

The primary function of this role is to monitor software and systems to process data according to operating instructions. The position involves performing assigned tasks, escalating issues during high-volume activity, and leveraging process knowledge to complete work without direct supervision. This role is central to maintaining operational integrity within a data center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor systems for equipment failure or errors in performance.
• Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program.
• Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities.
• Perform material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management, following standard processes.
• Ensure complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
• Perform inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various data center regulatory compliance or certification control audits.
• Execute the destruction of data-bearing devices following all documented procedures.
• Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports.
• Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A High School Diploma is required.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a warehouse/supply chain capacity within an IT environment, inventory management, retail, or a related field is required. Previous experience working in a data center environment is also required.
• Technical Skills: A basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required.
• General Skills: The role requires verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and manage one's time is necessary.
