Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

• Review application requirements and translate them into data models.
• Design and develop database schemas, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Develop complex SQL queries and performance-optimized database solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and data quality assessments.
• Support application development teams with database design and implementation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Database Modeler/Developer to support enterprise application development, data integration, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining logical and physical data models, developing high-performance database solutions, and ensuring data integrity, scalability, and security across mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL database technologies, advanced SQL and PL/SQL development, data modeling best practices, and database performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define entities, relationships, keys, constraints, and data standards.
• Create and maintain ER diagrams and data dictionaries.
• Support data governance and metadata management initiatives.
• Review application requirements and translate them into data models.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• 8+ years of database development experience.
• 5+ years of data modeling experience.
• Experience supporting large enterprise applications.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Technical Skills:

• Database Technologies: Oracle 12c/19c or higher, PostgreSQL.
• Data Modeling Tools: ERwin, ER/Studio, SQL Developer Data Modeler, or other enterprise modeling tools.
• Development Skills: Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Packages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server.
• Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
• Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, REST APIs, Data Warehousing, or Data Lakes.
• Understanding of KYC, AML, Client Onboarding, or regulatory applications.
• Experience supporting cloud migration programs.
