Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Database Modeler/Developer to support enterprise data initiatives, modernization, and cloud transformation. The role focuses on designing robust data models and high-performance database solutions using Oracle and PostgreSQL, with strong SQL/PLSQL development and data governance collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of database development experience.
• 5+ years of data modeling experience.
• Experience supporting large enterprise applications.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define entities, relationships, keys, constraints, and data standards.
• Create and maintain ER diagrams and data dictionaries.
• Support data governance and metadata management initiatives.
• Review application requirements and translate them into data models.
• Design and develop database schemas, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Develop complex SQL queries and performance-optimized database solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and data quality assessments.
• Support application development teams with database design and implementation.
• Work with business analysts, application developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into database solutions.
