Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior Tech Support specialist with deep Windows/Apple/macOS expertise, joining our Technical Field Engineering team. This on-site role supports macOS devices, Apple hardware, and enterprise security across regional offices, with travel to other GEICO locations. Strong scripting and automation are valued to enhance operations.

You will work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with after-hours as needed. Travel is required to multiple U.S. offices to support projects and incidents.

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Net+ certifications required.
• ACSP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Apple/macOS expertise with Apple device management (MDM).
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash/zsh) and APIs.
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for macOS and Apple client devices across regional offices.
• Provide Tier I–III troubleshooting for macOS, system issues, and packaging.
• Manage patching, profiles, and device compliance policies (MDM).
• Develop automation scripts to streamline macOS config and enforcement.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve recurring issues.
