Job summary

GEICO seeks a Senior Tech Support specialist with deep Windows/Apple/macOS expertise for their Technical Field Engineering team. This on-site, full-time role covers macOS devices, MDM, endpoint security, and broader IT field engineering across U.S. offices.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in OS support, strong scripting, and enterprise IT experience. Occasional after-hours work and travel to other GEICO offices are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in IT field or related experience.
• 10+ years' experience supporting Windows and Macintosh OS.
• 5+ years in technical IT support, IT infrastructure, networking, or AV systems.
• Enterprise MDM solution administration experience.
• Strong analytical and customer-facing skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Chicago Monday-Friday 8:00-17:00 with after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT support for Windows and macOS systems.
• Serve as SME for macOS and Apple devices across regional offices.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, network, VOIP, and AV issues.
• Manage device enrollment, patching, and security baselines; document processes.
• Develop technical documentation and runbooks for IT support.
• Travel to other U.S. offices as needed for projects and support.
