Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Architect to join our delivery teams and guide integration across client ecosystems in the Washington, DC area with some travel to Dallas, TX. You will design scalable architectures, mentor delivery teams, and drive best practices for security and performance.

In this role you will leverage 6+ years of Appian and IT experience, collaborate with enterprise architects, and lead complex implementations across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments while

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Appian solutions and 6+ years of IT experience.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field
• Active Appian Lead Certification
• Strong experience with Agile delivery
• Experience deploying Cloud, On-Prem, and Hybrid platforms
• Experience with security testing and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, and DevSecOps initiatives.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to fit solutions to client ecosystems.
• Lead complex Appian implementations and mentor delivery teams.
• Ensure scalable, high-performance solutions and document best practices.
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement and internal enablement.
• Travel 0-15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX
