Job summary

Groundswell is seeking a Senior Appian Developer Consultant to provide architectural support and act as trusted advisor for client delivery teams in the DC Metro area. The role focuses on scaling business through expert guidance on Appian solutions, architecture design, and integrated delivery practices.

Responsibilities include leading implementation teams, guiding architecture and DevSecOps, ensuring scalable solutions, mentoring staff, and contributing to internal processes and knowledge

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
• 5+ years of related IT experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification.
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly; able to gather information from partners; analytical and strategic foresight.
• US Citizenship required; willing to travel (0–15%) and local to DC Metro area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation teams through complex Appian solutions and related technologies.
• Support design, development, and testing activities.
• Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and program initiatives for technical success.
• Ensure solutions are scalable and perform well.
• Create and document implementation best practices and internal knowledge base articles.
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
• Mentor, train, and enable resources.
