Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an experienced Senior Appian Developer Consultant to provide architecture support for delivery teams and advise clients on Appian-driven solutions. You will mentor teams, design scalable architectures, and help implement internal processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
• 5+ years of related IT experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification.
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a "do whatever it takes attitude").
• US Citizenship required.
• Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
• Must be willing to travel (0-15%) for client meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies.
• Supports design, development, and test activities.
• Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success.
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
• Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources.
