Senior Apparel Designer - NIKE, Inc.
Location: Beaverton, OR
Job Description: Design Nike apparel using practical insights, knowledge of construction, trims, and materials to create innovative products reflecting Nike's design ethos and philosophies. Develop seasonal concepts across various product types including lifestyle, performance, gender-fluid, knits, woven, tops, and bottoms.
Attend fit sessions with a keen eye for detail to develop high-quality products across different distribution levels and price points. Collaborate with design, business, materials, and category teams to ideate, present, develop, and troubleshoot throughout the product development process. Oversee wear-testing, manage product costs, develop concepts and mockups, and contribute to material development.
Prepare presentation materials to communicate seasonal design narratives, toolboxes, and frameworks, facilitating clear communication of design intent across styles and collections. Support team members and share knowledge to foster talent development within the team.
Work with cross-functional teams within Nike, including graphic design, color design, technical design, costing & sourcing, and product line management. Build relationships with Nike's product categories, innovation, and material development teams. Ensure products are commercial-ready, delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or Apparel Design plus two years of experience in a related role. Experience must include pattern making, illustration, 3D rendering (CLO), apparel and textile design, technical design, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, BOM creation, prototype fitting, technical drawing, specification package creation, cost negotiation, factory process coordination, and presenting creative concepts.
