Vantor is seeking a Senior API/Java/Python Developer in Arlington, VA to design, build, test, and maintain scalable APIs and services. The role emphasizes Java and Python, RESTful APIs, and cloud-enabled backends in a security-conscious environment.

Applicants must hold a TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance and a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, and modern API tooling is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance required.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python with Spring Boot, Flask, or Django.
• Strong API design experience (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and API tooling.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; Git version control.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust applications and APIs using Java and Python.
• Design and implement RESTful REST/microservices; integrate third-party APIs.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases for storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integrate components.
• Optimize performance and ensure security best practices for APIs.
• Optionally integrate cloud services for cloud-native solutions.
