Vantor Inc. is seeking a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and APIs using Java and Python. The role requires active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance and U.S.

citizenship, with experience in REST/GraphQL APIs, databases, and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance software. Responsibilities include API design, database management, and ensuring secure data handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
• Proficiency in Java and Python and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Flask, Django).
• Strong understanding of API styles (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and tools (Postman, Swagger UI).
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications and APIs using Java and Python.
• Design RESTful APIs and microservices; integrate third-party services.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases for storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements.
• Optimize performance and enforce security best practices.
• Optional cloud integration for cloud-native deployments.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing apps and APIs.
