Job summary

Vantor seeks an API/Java/Python Developer to join its Services team, delivering high-performance API-driven services and data pipelines for military intelligence programs. You will design RESTful APIs, integrate backend components, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deploy secure, cloud-ready software in an Agile environment.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, with 2–5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s in CS/SE or related

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.
• 2-5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience developing applications using Java and Python.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, web services, and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and SQL development.
• Experience with Git, version control systems, and Agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Python frameworks.
• Build and integrate backend services, data pipelines, and enterprise application components.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, data engineers, and UI/UX developers to implement end-to-end solutions.
• Develop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes within Agile environments.
• Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and integration challenges across distributed systems.
• Support cloud-native deployments, containerization, and secure software development practices.
