Job summary

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure applications. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance, and strong skills in Java, Python, REST, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Flask, Django).
• Strong understanding of API architectural styles (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and experience with API development tools (Postman, Swagger UI).
• Familiarity with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable applications and APIs using Java and Python.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices; integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with frontend, product managers, and QA to define requirements and integrate components.
• Optimize performance and security; ensure secure API authentication.
• Optionally integrate cloud services for cloud-native solutions and deployments.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements for existing applications and APIs.
