Job summary

Vantor is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Services team, delivering high‑performance API‑driven services and data‑ingest pipelines for FMI programs. You will work with government customers to modernize, secure, and deploy scalable solutions in a cloud‑native, DevSecOps environment.

Qualifications include a TS/SCI eligible clearance, 2–5 years of experience, and a BS in a technical field. Proficiency in Java/Python, RESTful APIs, and experience with Kubernetes/Docker and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or related field required.
• Experience building scalable backend services with Java/Python.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and backend integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Python frameworks.
• Build and integrate backend services, data pipelines, and enterprise components.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, data engineers, and UI/UX developers for end-to-end solutions.
• Develop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes in Agile environments.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues across distributed systems.
